After almost two years it was about time to update my demo reel. Check out the rigging work I did on “Warm Bodies” and “Escape From Planet Earth”!

The trailer for Warm Bodies is out! I worked on it while at Look Effects where I designed and built all the creature rigs, the deformation setups, the modular rigging pipeline and the mocap tools. It was a cool project and I had a lot of fun rigging the bonies!

Here’s the trailer for “Escape From Planet Earth”, the feature animation I worked on while at Rainmaker. It took some time and some false starts but at the end it’s here and it looks great! I worked on it as Lead Creature TD and had the opportunity to manage a very talented rigging team.

Just joined Hydraulx as Senior Rigger!

I joined Look Effects as Lead Creature Technical Director to work on Warm Bodies. I’m back in Gastown once again!

I took today off work to be at the SIGGRAPH 2011 Conference all day. I really can’t miss this Studio Talk. But I wish I had more days, there are so many other interesting things this year. Anyway, I hope to see you all there (or later at the parties!).

This weekend I finally found some time to update my Demo Reel. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time but have been very busy at work. Here it is, this time I made it in HD, after all it’s 2011!

Hey! I haven’t posted here in a while, work is keeping me busy. I’m currently Lead Creature TD here at Rainmaker and I’m still working on Escape from Planet Earth. If you are interested in joining our awesome team take a look a this page, there are a lot of open positions!

Next week I will be joining Rainmaker Entertainment as Senior Creature Technical Director. I am happy to work again on Escape from Planet Earth, rigging these particular characters and creatures will be a lot of fun!
