I took today off work to be at the SIGGRAPH 2011 Conference all day. I really can’t miss this Studio Talk. But I wish I had more days, there are so many other interesting things this year. Anyway, I hope to see you all there (or later at the parties!).

This is a little script I wrote to find both incoming and outgoing connections and print them in the script editor. This can be useful when the Hypergraph isn’t collaborating because of the containers. If you ever used them you know what I mean.

New Demo Reel

Joining Rainmaker Entertainment
Next week I will be joining Rainmaker Entertainment as Senior Creature Technical Director. I am happy to work again on Escape from Planet Earth, rigging these particular characters and creatures will be a lot of fun!

New website is live
New year, new website! I successfully upgraded my old website to the latest version of WordPress and I then I redesigned the interface and added new graphics. I’m using the same database so I still have all my previous posts and pages.
I should also mention that I uploaded new scripts and updated the old ones to the newer versions. The Gallery is still empty but I will restore it in the next days and after that I will finally post my new Demo Reel. I haven’t updated it since 2008 so it’s about time!
And that’s all for now. Oh wait, one more thing, Happy New Year to everyone!

Arctic Scramble
Arctic Scramble, the project I worked on at The Odyssey VFX, is now online.
This animated short film was created for Alenia North America in occasion of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games to present the Canadian Search and Rescue version of the C-27J “Spartan” multirole airplane.
