My name is Giorgio Bertolone and I work in the Animation and Visual Effects industry as Senior Creature TD. I have technical and artistic skills and I specialize in Rigging, Scripting and Tool Development. Working for films has always been my passion and I feel very lucky everyday for having such a wonferful and challenging profession.
I was born in Italy and I grew up living in Turin and then in Rome. Since childhood I was inspired by the beautiful artworks of my native land and my classical studies are a very important part of my development as an artist. After graduating in Graphic & Virtual Design I oriented myself in modern forms of art and I discovered my passion for Animation and Visual Effects.
I then moved to Canada and I studied 3D at the Vancouver Film School for one intensive and exciting year. Soon after getting my diploma I received my first job offer and experienced for the first time the joy of being paid to do what you love. Even now, after working as TD for many years in different companies, I still have that joy and the same passion of when I started.
I currently live in Vancouver with my wonderful wife and three adorable kids and we all love to travel and explore the world so I can’t wait to see where my job will take us next. In my free time I surf the snow of the mountains of British Columbia or I work on flight simulators and write about them.
